Last year City Moms Blog held their annual Sister Site Conference in Dallas, Texas. North Phoenix Moms Blog along with many of the other moms blogs across the country spent a few fun-filled days at the luxurious Omni Dallas.
From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel was gorgeous! The decor was modern and beautiful. We arrived hours early (took the red eye in!) and they graciously let us check in early (so we could get a few winks in before the festivities began that afternoon).
I did not have much in mind other than grabbing a couple hours of sleep when I entered our room. I closed the curtains, laid down on that super soft bed and was asleep in moments. When I awoke, I was able to take in the ambiance and view from our room. It truly was spectacular! As you can see in the photo below, the rooms are beautifully decorated (with outlets sneakily hidden everywhere you could possibly need one and in places you hoped they would be at other hotels!). Although not pictured, the bathrooms were just as nice! Gigantic showers and TVs enclosed in the larger-than-life mirrors.
On property, there is a heated infinity pool, full service spa and multiple restaurants to enjoy. We dined at Texas Spice, a farm to market concept with an emphasis on southern style and The Owner’s Box, an upscale bar with a killer menu! Both were amazing. There is also a steakhouse, a coffee shop and a full service bar at the Uptown Terrace (pictured below). There are also more restaurants opening this spring!
The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Dallas with easy access to many amazing attractions: Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas World Aquarium, Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Klyde Warren Park and many places to SHOP!
I would highly recommend the Omni Dallas to anyone. Whether you are traveling with your family, in Dallas for a business trip, taking a little getaway with your loved one or friends, this hotel has something for everyone.
