Welcome to Snooze AM Eatery, the restaurant place I wish I could win free breakfast to for the rest of my life. I was never a breakfast person, I was a drink a cup of coffee and maybe eat a fig bar morning kind of person. Lunch was always my first meal. Now I’m hooked on breakfast and it’s all because of Snooze. They are the best place to fuel your morning, any day of the week. You’ll find the two locations in Arizona regularly busy but family, work, friend and any other occasion friendly. The service has always been above par and the food above average. Which makes sense, since it’s a popular place not just in Arizona but Denver, where it started, and California.
I chose this place particularly for today because what better place to get breakfast after the madness of Christmas. Sit back and enjoy some scrumptious, mouth watering food. My favorites at the restaurant: egg benedicts, pancakes and a vanilla latte. I could try other things when I go but why mess with perfection? I did once opt for the corned beef hash and my husband had the gigantic breakfast burrito shown in the pictures but they just weren’t egg benedicts. My favorite benedicts are the Ham Benedict III, which is a signature English muffin topped with shaved hickory smoked ham, perfectly poached cage free eggs and smoked cheddar hollandaise. Or if you want to be a little more adventurous, try the Bella!Bella! Benny. A gorgeous creation of prosciutto, Taleggio cheese, eggs, cream cheese hollandaise, balsamic glaze and arugula, all on top of a toasted ciabatta. I’m sooooo drooling right now, just look at that picture above, don’t you want to eat it!! Want to try both? Just tell them and they’ll give you a half order of each and it comes with their fantastic house hash browns.
I might be eating for two but I can’t eat all this food on my own, even if I wanted to. I always order a pancake ala carte with my meal and share with my friends or husband. Shown above is the blueberry danish pancake. A fluffy pancake filled with lemony cream cheese and topped with a blueberry coulis, sweet cream and almond streusel. It’s like eating candy for breakfast and yet worth every single bite. Also try the peanut butter cup pancakes, cinammon roll pancakes or the OMG! French Toast. Fresh brioche stuffed with mascarpone, then griddled and topped with vannila creme, salted caramel, fresh strawberries and toasted coconut. Yeah, talk about sweet utopia!
Not in the mood for the suggestions listed above? That’s ok, Snooze has something for everyone. From a breakfast pot pie or Juan’s Breakfast Tacos to Green Eggs’n Hamwich or the B.E.A.T. Sandwich. That monster of a breakfast burrito shown above is filled with scrambled eggs, hash browns, black beans, cheddar and jack cheese and topped with green chile hollandaise and pico de gallo.
