It’s nearly Independence Day and we’ve got a tasty grilled meal for you! Read on for a marinade that will take your chicken to the next level! This recipe makes tender, juicy and flavorful chicken. Throw it on the grill to give that perfect char with grilled oranges and fresh poblano peppers. Finish with a sweet orange marmalade glaze. The perfect kabob!
INGREDIENTS
Marinade
- 1/2 cup ale beer
- 1/8 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/8 cup fresh orange juice
- 1/8 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 tsp hot pepper flakes
- 2 Cloves of garlic miniced
- Sea salt and pepper
- Cubed chicken breast
- Poblano peppers de veined
- Orange wedges with rind
- Orange marmalade to glaze
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
DIRECTIONS
Marinate your chicken for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours in the fridge
Prep your grill
Soak skewer sticks in water. This prevents them from catching on fire
Build skewers and grill. Brush with orange marmalade towards the end of your grilling time
Excellent served over wild rice with orange segments. Garnish with fresh cilantro. Enjoy!
