Fellowship Square Historic Hosts Resident Volunteer Beautification Event FEB. 10

February 10 @ 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

On Saturday, Feb. 10, Fellowship Square Historic Mesa (FSHM) is hosting a resident volunteer event in partnership with IMEG Engineering. The engineering firm has donated $2,000 to Fellowship Square Historic Mesa for the improvement and beautification of the community’s garden areas.

The event will begin at 8 a.m. when FSHM building captains, other residents, maintenance staff and volunteer staff from IMEG Engineering will gather and break into teams. Teams will then assist in the landscaping beautification project, which includes dismantling old planters, installing new planters, painting outdoor furniture, preparing garden areas and planting trees.

After these efforts, volunteers will gather in the Grand Community Room at 11:30 a.m. for lunch, a thank-you presentation and games.

Volunteer efforts and engaging residents in activities at Fellowship Square Historic Mesa is a large initiative at the community. The FSHM Life Enrichment program is dedicated to these efforts and other activities designed to help residents enjoy meaningful and purposeful lives.

Media are invited to attend this event for live news coverage. Tracey Biggerstaff, sales and marketing director of FSHM, as well as resident volunteers will be available for interviews about the importance of volunteering and bringing residents of FSHM together.
