Ocean Prime Honors Black History Month by Joining the Uncle Nearest Fundraising Challenge Throughout FEBRUARY

In recognition of Black History Month and to help promote an important cause, Ocean Prime is participating in the Uncle Nearest HBCU Old Fashioned Challenge throughout the month of February. This effort raises funds for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), which have been widely underfunded by at least $12.8 billion over the past 30 years.

All month long, Ocean Prime will be making Old Fashioned cocktails with Uncle Nearest 1884 blend and will donate $1 from each one sold to this cause. That donation will then be matched by Uncle Nearest as part of the company’s goal to raise up to $1.4 million for HBCUs in order to provide one full in-state tuition scholarship to each of the accredited schools.
