It’s that time of year again! Some of us love it and some of us hate it- back to school shopping! I’m sure that you have your places that you frequent for this time of year, but we wanted to make sure you knew about a fabulous local spot that will have a favorite store for every school goer in your family- the Shops at Norterra.
The Shops at Norterra is actually a wonderful spot to make back to school shopping a sort of “date night” for your family! Between the hustle and bustle of going in and out of clothing stores and trying everything on under the sun, you can stop at one of their tasty restaurants for refreshments, grub, and a little breather. They have so many options to choose from: Paradise Bakery, Pita Jungle, Sauce, Ah-So Sushi, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chipotle, Johnny Rockets, PF Changs, The Pita Pit, Smash Burger amongst a few others! Mmmm it’s making me hungry just thinking about it 😉
If you have pre-teen or teen daughters, they will be sure to find the newest trends in clothing and accessories in places like Charming Charlie, Fans and Fashionistas, and Claire’s Boutique. I’m sure you won’t be able to sneak out of there without stopping in Victoria’s Secret or Bath and Body Works too!
Although boys are not typically the most excited about back to school shopping in my experience, the Shops at Norterra do have stores that they’ll love and could easily get lost in! For your sports goers there is Dick’s Sporting Goods and Fans and Fashionistas. For a more sophisticated look there is also Men’s Warehouse and Christopher and Banks to name a couple. Every young (or old!) boy I know can also spend oodles of time when going to Best Buy– surely they can convince any mom or dad that there are more than a few things they “need” in there! Dad may even find a couple things too.
In my opinion, no family date night is complete without dessert!!! The Shops at Norterra will definitely not leave you hanging in that department either.
