I received products from the local shops listed in this post. As always my opinions are my own.
Spring is here and I thought it would only be appropriate to blog about some super cute season appropriate looks using some really cool local brands. I have divided the looks into 4 different categories that are not only cute but pretty darn trendy in my eyes. All four of the kids were so much fun to photograph and they really got into their look as I am sure you can tell by the photos.
Mr. Too Cool for Spring is decked out in his “All About That Base” shirt that we ran across on Etsy, as soon as I showed this shirt to my son (the model) he immediately broke into song. He not only loved the old school boombox logo on the front but the quality of this shirt is really awesome too! You can find this cute piece at Sweet Lucy Jack and follow her on Instagram @sweetlucyjack. Grant is also wearing The Stand Out Jeans by Curly Qs Counter, these jeans are just to die for. They are handmade out of high quality denim and distressed to perfection. Check out their shop and you can follow their brand on Instagram @curlyqscounter. To top off this bad to the bone outfit Grant is wearing some wood grain sunglasses that I scored at Baby Gap last season, I think they have an amazing selection of shades if you are on the hunt for trendy sunglasses for a decent price.
Reegan is wearing some amazing handmade goods as well as a few staples from Old Navy. The high waisted black and white stripes with gold dots twirl skirt was handmade by LilLaineyBug, I found this little gem on Etsy and fell in love with the quality and trendy design, go check out her shop at Lil Lainey Bug and @lillaineybugs on Instagram. The “Wrenn” infinity scarf is a true staple in any little girls wardrobe. It is the perfect size for a toddler and really adds a pop of color to any “plain jane” outfit. This shop owner is located just outside of the Valley in Prescott, but have no fear, she can be found on at Shop Coast 2 Coast, and her Instagram @shopcoast2coast. The plain pink top and jean vest can be found at Old Navy, I think every wardrobe should have a jean vest in it, including us moms! Reegan’s outfit is fit for a queen so we had to add a touch of gold to the top, she is wearing a JTC Crown Hari Hoop Sequins Design Gold Headband that I found on Amazon.
This dude rolled right out bed and nailed his look to perfection. The shirt says it all, this cute little Etsy shop has all of the goods when it come to cute quotes and trendy designs. Jumping Jack Jack supplied us with the Bedhead Toddler shirt and boy is it cute, the quality is amazing as well 🙂 Please take a moment to read the meaning behind their shop name, it will warm your heart! Fletcher is also wearing a pair of Old Navy sweat pants that are currently in stores. It is a pretty basic look but I am sure all you moms can relate to rolling out of bed and having to run out the door, now your kids can do it in style.
Reese is supporting lots of sweet local brands with her “Light and Bright” look. BAM Bead Boutique handmade this unique Girls LOVE Pink and Red Necklace, which is top quality as well as a super fun and girly look. The tank top is a quote straight from “Mean Girls” and I fell madly in love with it the second I saw it. Lannie B Handmade hit the nail on the head with this one, not only is it a top quality piece but the gold glitter and layout is true perfection.
Her headband is another Jumping Jack Jack creation, not only is it adorable, super soft and fancy but the size is so perfect for a toddlers head, kuddos on mastering toddler sizing! Last but not least, Reese is wearing a tutu made by yours truly! What kind of blogger would I be if I didn’t sponsor my own local brand 😉 My shop is Truly Unique Baby Gifts and I pride myself on making unique tutu’s for girls of all ages. This one was pretty fun to make tho because it is made out of gold tulle with hand layed glitter.
All in all I believe that spring fashion on kids should be about what is comfy, trendy and fits the child’s personality. Let your kids pick what they like and find a few staple pieces to tie it all together.
If you have a spring fashion idea comment below, I would love to see what you have come up with!
