Today I am excited to review a place my little family frequently visits- The Shops at Norterra! We live in North Phoenix and we have our “go-to” places when we feel like getting out of the house, and Norterra is one of them. I love that it is so convenient and right off the freeway. We have probably gone there more times than we have meant to because we are close by, and it’s so easy to get to when we are out and about. I wanted to highlight a few places that are my “favorites” at the shops and highlight even more that you may not know they had. Here we go!
I can safely say that Charming Charlie is one of my favorite stores. I can spend hours upon hours in there! Dangerous stuff for my bank account. I am a total sucker for earrings and accessories, so naturally it’s an easy place to get lost in!
By this time, my girls (ages 2 and almost 4) are DONE! Ha! So a little snack/lunch break is usually in order. A pretty affordable and delicious place to eat is Sauce Pizza & Wine. Their portions are so big and when it’s just the 3 of us, we can usually share one pasta dish and small salad. Perfect!
Stopping to get a cookie or two over at Paradise Bakery for dessert is always a good idea. Sugar cookies with sprinkles are my girls’ favorite!
Recently my husband and I went on a much needed date. We started at Elevate Coffee Co. We both got something to drink and sat down to play a game. They have a big bookshelf full of games and we spent about an hour gaming and talking. The atmosphere is great in there. They have a lot of comfy seating and their food/drinks are delicious! It’s a great place to go if you are looking for a little alone time or a coffee date with a friend.
From Elevate Coffee Co, we went to the Harkins Norterra 14 theater. I can’t recall exactly what we saw, but I know we had a great time. We have gone to this theater for date nights many, many times and really enjoyed oursleves.
Last but certainly not least, at the end of any night we love to stop for ice cream or frozen yogurt! Good thing Yogurtini is right across from the theater. We love self serve! Although sometimes I serve myself a little TOO much…anyone else have that problem?! 😉
Oh and do you all remember our Moms Night Out event that we had back in October?? Pita Jungle at Norterra sponsored our event and we had such a great time!

This is so random, but I was googling something and came upon your blog. Then your post was on Norterra. My husband and I are under contract with a home near there, so we’re hopefully moving in the area. I’m glad to see you enjoy the shops there. It’s a wonderful area!!
