PlayGrounds Fun Zone- “Where kids want to play and parents want to stay!” {Guest Post}

PlayGrounds Fun Zone “Where kids want to play and parents want to stay!”

Now, doesn’t that sound great?! Well, if you’re looking for a great place to gather and hang out (both kids and parents), look no further. PlayGrounds is a Café, Fun Zone, and Party Place all-in-one. PlayGrounds is located just west of the 101 on Union Hills Dr in Glendale, AZ.

Owner & Operator, James Bernau opened up PlayGrounds in 2011, hoping to create a place “where kids can play and parents want to stay.” PlayGrounds Fun Zone is a 3,500 square-foot indoor play space where kids’ imaginations and bodies can run wild. Kids ages 8 and under are free to explore, climb, crawl, and slide among colorful animal characters, slides, tunnels, and much more. There is also an area designated just for toddlers to do all of the same things on a “toddler scale.” Parents are welcome to join the fun or just sit. They can watch while enjoying a coffee on one of the comfy couches or chairs.

There are Party Packages if you want to host a birthday party or any other event. Click here to find out more.

Elisa is a native Arizonan by birth and a Seattleite by heart. She is a wise, spirited woman who loves feeling the sun on her face, but also enjoys cold rainy days, complete with a cup of coffee and a good book or conversation. After graduating with a Masters in Counseling Psychology and seeing clients for a time, she took a hiatus to love on, play with, and offer copious amounts of hugs to our little girls, Malia and Jayden. She is now back working at Socorro Counseling and Consulting in Downtown Phoenix. Unafraid to laugh at herself and able to see the beauty in others, she makes everyone feel at ease, making her a genuine friend, therapist, and wife. Give her a cute pattern and a sewing machine or some spray paint and a piece of furniture and they are surely to be transformed into some warm piece of art that brightens our living space. She also finds creativity in cooking, making household cleaners, and anything Pinterest. In short, Elisa is stylish, wise, thoughtful, creative woman who makes everyone around her a better person, including her husband (who wrote this bio).
