One Sign of the Holiday Season
Now that Halloween is over, it seems retailers are ready to usher in the holidays, especially Starbucks. On November 1st the coffee giant released its Red Cup, a sure sign Christmas is right around the corner. (I won’t tell you the number of days because if you are like me, you don’t want to be reminded of it.) Several of my friends were very excited about the “Red Cups” and celebrated with a latte and a Facebook picture. Meantime, several other of my friends complained that the “Red Cups” came out way too early. Me? I don’t really care one way or the other. I’m still getting iced coffee. It’s still way too warm for me to switch to the hot stuff.
I never noticed the red cups before this year..it’s the appearance of the holiday drinks that means the season has started. But, Like you, I am still sticking with iced for the most part.
