If you are looking for family friendly, well priced Italian food, then Mici Italian is a must try. This Colorado based, family-owned business just opened its first location in Gilbert, just south of Power and Ray.
Upon arrival you see a cute updated new build surrounded by a misted covered patio. The open dining room has plenty of seating for your families or you can choose a table on their patio.
The great thing is, you order at the counter as soon as you are ready and they bring food straight to your table. This helps expedite the service and food as you entertain your hungry little ones at the table.
The menu has a variety of 5 delicious salads, and 8 comforting pasta dishes. They serve both with yummy crispy garlic bread. The Rosa pasta, which mixes marinara and Alfredo sauce, is a brilliant choice to dip your bread in. The true highlight of our meal was the pizza! Their menu features 12 pizza and calzone choices broken down into red sauce, olive oil, and pesto. We tried the Vela pizza and loved it! They adorned this heavenly pizza with their family recipe sausage that truly lived up to the hype. We devoured it down all the way because even the crust was so great. To round out your meal, you can even choose from a glass of wine or locally crafted beer.
The dine in only, kids’ menu featured pizza and pasta with pretty large portion sizes. This filled their bellies, but still left room for a yummy dessert. On Mondays kids can eat free for dine-in too!
The true cherry on top was the dessert. There was a variety of 10 creamy gelato flavors or a yummy cannoli. We saved room for this and so should you.
If you aren’t able to dine in, they also offer delivery with an easy-to-use website to put in your order. https://www.miciitalian.com/
We can’t wait to take our family back again and hope you enjoy it as much as we have. Enjoy!
