Local Living: Let’s Hear Those Sleigh Bells. . .

1

Let’s hear those sleigh bells jing a ling . . . anyone? anyone?

I can just taste Halloween!

And do you know what that means? It’s almost the start of the holiday season.

So, here is my pre-season gift to you.

Bust out that paper calendar, iCalendar, or Outlook . . . and jot down these dates, because you shouldn’t miss out on some phenomenal shopping opportunities to support and buy local.

November 1. Thieves Market. Early entry at 8 am ($6 entry) 9 am – 3 pm ($3 entry). Free Parking. 1500 N. McClintock Dr. Tempe, AZ

November 2. Hissyfits Hulabaloo. I’ve been going for years, never miss and can’t wait to see Hustlemama Handmade and Pockets with Posies!

November 21 – 23. The Big Heap. Vintage? Yes! Handmade? Count. Me. In. Salt River Fields. 9 am – 4 pm Friday/Saturday. 9am – 3pm Sunday. $7 entry.

November 29. Phoenix Flea. Heritage Square in downtown off Seventh Street & Monroe. 10 am – 6 pm. $5 entry. Don’t even get me started on the lineup expected at this market. Blows my mind. Check out this amazing image by Brittany Franco who will be at the Flea.

December 5. Frances Crafeteria. 6 – 10 pm. Medlock Plaza (behind Frances). Last year was amazing and so cold. A coat + gloves + holiday cheer = warm and fuzzy holiday feeling while shopping.

So warning before you see the next date, I’m seriously ill. Like a feel a bit like a Junk In the Trunk groupie; but it’s on my calendar so you should probably mark yours too! Because its not just 1 day to the market I go, it is 2 . . . yes TWO days of JITT Market!

May 2 – May 3, 2015. Junk In the Trunk Vintage Market.

So now that I’ve divulged what  is on my calendar, I want to hear what is on yours! What do we need to know about?
