Another year another market! Guys I can’t tell you how much I love attending this event twice annually. It’s a day to spend time looking at amazing products that people have spent junking and making beautiful. We wanted to share a few things about the gals that run the market + some tips to make your day that much better….but first and foremost a few things to remember!

1 – Get Social! It’s no secret the Junk in the Trunk (JITT) Vintage Market gals LOVE to use that social media…check Facebook/Insta. They are known to do giveaways and promos….like A LOT! Visit their Facebook and Insta.

2 –  Parking – Bringing an empty trunk but $5 to park that thing in the parking lot! Bring cash + carpool!!!!

3 – Sweet Swag – The first 300 people get a swag bag! So hurry and get in line!!!

4 – Pricing – $10 Early Entry (8AM-10AM) & $5 General (10AM-5PM)

OK about these gals. They are good down to their roots! I personally have received support from them giving kind donations to my daughter’s Christian Preschool for the Annual Fall Festive that is HUGE on proceeds to the school programs for the year. I remember picking up items from Coley’s house and of course my daughter slipped right past me into her home while she was busy making dinner. She was so gracious and kind as I scooped up the donations and my daughter who was at that point in her son’s room playing with toys…shoes kicked off. I would have been mortified if Coley wasn’t so great about it.

Fast forward to finding my home here on the North Phoenix Moms Blog. We have always received lots of love from the JITT gals. Tickets for readers and sponsorship at our Mom’s Night Out. Again just awesome ladies.

But I have to say when I laid eyes on their Insta this week it just warmed my heart.

The caption readsThis is Owen. His sweet mama commented on our Facebook saying how she would love to win tickets but was at PCH all day (5 days total for this stay) and couldn’t get away for the scavenger hint. So we paid a little visit and gave her some tickets and Owen a shirt. This rock star beat bone cancer and is the sweetest and coolest middle schooler ever! Owen, you are strong and inspiring and you have a great mama 🙂 so great to meet you dude! #partylikeajunker” I mean seriously…with a hug market well on it’s way they make time for this. So head out and support some stellar ladies!

Oh and remember those tips for for a Successful DayWe recommend you wear comfy walking shoes, bring a stroller for the kiddos to ride in (some shops are difficult to push a stroller through though), bring cash as not all vendors accept credit cards (the food vendors last time were cash only BUT there are 2 ATMs on site) and bring friends…they will thank you big time! AND MOST IMPORTANT…if you see something you really want go ahead and buy it/put it on hold as most everything is one of a kind and if you don’t buy it someone might snag it while you are deciding…also bartering is welcome towards the end of the event.

Also did you know that brands supporting our September playdate will be at the Market?! Check out Mama’s Cold Brew and Jaxn Blvd!
