The temps have been playing around with us but it is the middle of November so they are bound to give in and drop right?! RIGHT!? Well to celebrate the cooler weather and get our munchkins out and about we have decided to have our first West Valley Moms play date of the fall season!! Plus what better way to welcome the new adorable bear cub “Luka”
If you don’t already know the Phoenix Zoo offers a FABULOUS membership deal! The prices are crazy for a one time visit but we paid for our membership with just two visits there, and we have gone at least 20+ times so far! If you are like me, we go every other week once it cools down and once summer hits they offer a few great splash pads to keep cool at!
As a member you can get unlimited day passes and discounts on certain exhibits like the girrafe encounter and sting ray petting. You also get discounts on the merry go round, trolley and even Zoo lights come December! If you plan a party there, members get a great deal too!
There are five membership options. We have the basic membership. This includes one adult for $55 But then we added on
“second adult” for $30 AND our oldest ages 3-12 for $20 totalling $105. One day at the zoo for our family would normally cost us now $60. With the second adult add on, I can get a friend, my hubby or a relative in for free AND as always kids under the age of 3 are FREE! It is a great deal! Be sure to check it out at Guest Services or online at phoenixzoo.org
ANYWHO.. We will be meeting on Monday November 25th at 9:30. Bring snacks or pack a lunch if you wish to stay longer and eat at the tables near the kid’s playground located on Harmony Farm.
We will meet up just inside the gates by the gift shop and then begin our stroll.
Look forward to seeing you mamas there! Feel free to bring a stroller or wagon… it might be too much walking for the kiddos!
Wish we could go! E is in school 🙁 We love the zoo though. Have a wonderful time!!
yay!
I think you have convinced me to get a membership too 😉
I love this zoo! Can’t wait to go over for Zoo Lights this year!
