Ice Den’s Teddy Bear Fair + GIVEAWAY!

6

We wanted to bring you a really special event happening in the valley this upcoming Sunday, July 27th! The Ice Den in Scottsdale is putting on a Teddy Bear Fair! Here is more information all about it:

“We realize it can be tough some days to get your kids to visit the doctor’s office. It can be hard to talk them into it when they’d much rather be outside playing with their friends or really doing anything else. Well, what if we told you there was a way you could get your kids excited to go to the doctor’s office and help raise much needed funds for Phoenix Children’s Hospital too?  As if that wasn’t good enough, what if we told you that teddy bears were involved?

PCH is proud to bring you our first Teddy Bear Fair! The event will be held 1 to 4 p.m. on July 27 at Ice Den Scottsdale. While at the fair, your child can go with their very own teddy bear (or if they don’t have one, we will have bears for purchase that day) to different booths where the kids (and parents) will learn all about the importance of wellness visits in a way that’s both educational and fun for the kids. Volunteers from PCH will teach the kids how to wrap ace bandages on their teddies and use a real stethoscope. During the visits, each bear will be given his or her own medical record; when completely filled in, everyone who submits a bear’s medical record will have the chance to win a birthday party at Ice Den!”

“It wouldn’t be a trip to Ice Den without some quality family time on the ice. You and the family can skate your hearts out or enjoy other fun activities and games. We’re so thankful to Ice Den for helping us with this event, proceeds from which will go to the PCH Hope Fund. The Hope Fund is the most flexible way donors can support PCH. It allows us to direct donations to where they’re needed most. That can include cutting edge research and charitable care for those patients in need. We love it when anyone donates to PCH and we’re especially grateful to those who contribute to the Hope Fund because it helps us get our patients the help they need, when they need it.”

Tickets will be $10 for pre-sale, $15 day of admission. This price includes skating, skate rental and all the great activities for you and your families to enjoy  — all for a great cause!

  1. Our family has never been ice skating but it is on my five year old’s reward sheet for completing her list of books! Hoping we win these so we don’t have to pay 🙂 Woo hoo!

  2. We have never been! Sophie our 4.5 year old has been asking to go like crazy. Once again, I thank frozen for the obsession 🙂
