I don’t know about you but when I think about summer with young kiddos, I start dreading the heat! My girls love splash pads and pools as much as any Arizona native does, but since they are often peppered with every kid in the city, I try to find new fun ways to keep them busy! As soon as the temperatures start to rise I immediately start compiling a list of INDOOR summer activities will keep the kiddos entertained and COOL!
One of our favorite things to do starting in June is participate in the Harkins Summer Movie program! Towards the end of spring you can purchase movie packages! They cost $5 for 10 movies per person. The movies they show have already been out of theaters and most of them are on DVD or Netflix. However, why not watch it again on a LARGE movie screen and enjoy some popcorn and candy while you are at it?! Keep this package deal in mind for next year and buy the passes before they start!
If you still want to participate in a drop in movie basis for the remainder of the summer, you can purchase a ticket for only $2/person. There are still seven more weeks of this so head over to your favorite Harkins theater and enjoy one of the following! The movies start at 9:45 but doors open at 9! They have a few different theaters showing the film so if you go with friends be sure to meet up prior to get seats together! Last week we saw Despicable Me 2, one of our favorites, and we are looking forward to watching The Croods this week!
Here is the line up for the remainder of the summer!
