Happy Hostess: Fall Flowers

0

I adore the start of the holiday season in Phoenix.

I begin “airing out” the house if you will. I crack open the windows in the early morning and let the fresh air in, turn on an Anthropologie candle, and actually enjoy sprucing up our home.

It’s also my most preferred time of year to host gatherings.

I try my best to always have a fresh flower arrangement when we welcome family and friends into our home. Tonight we are hosting a pumpkin carving and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to use a fairytale pumpkin as a vessel for fresh flowers.

If you give this a try, be sure to place an actual glass holder in the hollowed pumpkin, otherwise you might end up with a soggy pumpkin!

So who has driven past the construction site happening on Camelback and 40th Street? Notice anything missing?

Camelback Flowershop has moved to their new location at 4108 E. Indian School just east of 36th St.

If you don’t follow them on Instagram you should! Also be sure to hit up, Fresh Flower Happy Hour on Fridays for half off on fresh flowers from 4-6pm. HHFlower2

We’d love to see your flower arrangements this holiday season! Be sure to tag your photos on Instagram with #nphxmoms and you might see yourself on our feed!
