The Great Russian Nutcracker
When you think of the holidays, the Nutcracker is quite possibly a very strong core element of that memory. Clara, the Mouse King, the dolls, the sugar plum fairies, the music! For me, the memory dates back to grade school friends, drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows around the holidays, watching the ballet, and the dream of one day becoming a ballerina myself. I could have watched it repeatedly! I’m sure the magic of this incredible ballet has a different place in time, and a different meaning for everyone. No matter what the memory, the Nutcracker offers the undeniable gift of captivating the attention of audiences both young and old. It’s timeless and I certainly can’t wait to build these memories with my family when my little one is just a bit older!
Lucky for us, the Great Russian Nutcracker is coming to Comerica Theatre in Phoenix on December 22nd, JUST in time for those amazing holiday evening memories-in-the-making. The Moscow Ballet is proudly presenting 20+ Musical Wunderkind violinist and cellist prodigies, critically-acclaimed choirs, and nationally renowned orchestras who will all be performing with the company in the Great Russian Nutcracker. This incredible addition, incorporating the development and attention to pre-professional musicians adds further value to this already outstanding performance.
We are so thrilled to partner with Live Nation to be able to give away 4 tickets so that hopefully, you and your family can all go and enjoy the magic, dancing and the sugar plum fairies of the Great Russian Nutcracker! Very excited for this, thanks for the giveaway.
I remember going to see this ballet as a young teenager and loving every minute of it! I can’t wait to share the experience with my kids.
We would go with my school class to the nutcracker every year and I have really been wanting to take my daughters!
I haven’t been to the Nutcracker and can’t wait to take my daughter one day! She’s just now talking about wanting to take ballet and she loves to pretend to do sophisticated moves. My hope this season is to teach my kids that giving is just as fun as receiving. That the joy we bring to others is one of the best things about Christmas.
My son is obsessed with the Nutcracker! I would love to take him this year 🙂
I have never been to a professional production of The Nutcracker, but I have been in a youth production, before. I had a book that I read every holiday season, too. I wish I still had that to share with my kids!
I used to go every year with my grandparents to see the Nutcracker but I haven’t been since they passed. I think my husband and kids would really enjoy this, I would probably be leaky eyed but so in love.
