Get Rid Of Traditional Gift Wrapping Once And For All

2

Tired of the same old wrapping paper at the stores with snowman and santa hats? Or maybe your fingers hurt just thinking about all the ribbon strand curls you’ll be making this year.

Gift wrapping for the holidays does not have to be boring, daunting nor does it have to be expensive. Busy moms like us need simple, fast but with a touch of personality and swagger!

I’ve searched high and low to share with you my 5  gift wrapping ideas that will be sitting pretty under the tree this year.

Giving gifts is personal so why not making the wrapping experience a personal expression as well.  Gather up a few basic essentials and think outside the box to make your own gift wrapping WOW those friends and family members this year.

Oh, and keep your kiddos near by too for a few personal “touches.”

Grab that black craft paper and chalk board markers from the local craft store. Trace stencils or even cookie cutters and BOOM you have yourself a sleek wrapped package anyone would love to receive.

Pick up some pretty little cards with winter landscapes or just packages of plain christmas cards . Use the front of the card, washi tape and brown kraft paper for a simple sleek look that almost appears like a work of art!

Haul out the black sharpie and your favorite Christmas song lyrics while you write them on  plain craft paper. Add some bakers ribbon and VOILA a song and a gift for Christmas!

Let you kids create holiday lights with a little paint and a whole lot of fun.  A simple finger dip in the paint and then on the package can add a string of lights to any white craft paper.  Take your black sharpie and put the finishing touches with the light cord. What better way to give a gift than with that personal “touch.”
