My daughter is always asking me to do my hair like Anna from Frozen, but as a mama who is pushing into those mature years… pig tails are not always appropriate. So I came up with a version that makes me feel fancy and is SO easy to do. It takes me no longer than 5 minutes and 3 tools total. You can optionally use the styling cream, hair spray, and comb.
Step 1 Part your hair down the middle. Add Styling Cream (optional) if you have frizzy hair, or in my case, semi damp to keep from fly away hairs once dry. Complete two Dutch Braids. Your braid direction will be heading straight down your back. It does not need to be pretty or perfect, as you can see from my photo. Secure with tiny elastic.
Step 2 Take your two completed braids and tie them in a knot.
Step 3 Continue knotting hair until you have small ends.
Step 4 Tuck and pin ends.
Step 5 Use hair spray to complete the look as a finishing spray.
