Foodie Friday: Valentine’s Day Chocolate Tour

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetWith Valentine’s Day around the corner, chocolate is on my mind and in my mouth.  I am not one for going out on Valentine’s Day for dinner, I’d rather opt for a more unique and maybe less busy experience.  With the weather as perfect as it is, I suggest taking a friend or a sweetie on the Scottsdale Chocolate Tours.  Did you know there was a chocolate tour in Scottsdale?  Probably not but it’s a great way to do something a little different this year.  Tours are Thurs, Fri. or Sat. and your guide will be the sweet Ofelia, she’ll make you feel right at home and take you on a walking journey through Scottsdale while indulging your sweet tooth.Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

To give you a taste of what’s in store, I’ll tell you that the tour starts out in Old Town with a bite from Julia Baker Chocolates, one dark and one milk chocolate ganache.  You’ll start your venture out from there but the next few stops are not too far from where you’ll start.  You’ll go through the Fashion Square Mall and back out and around the way you came.  You’ll get a chance to enjoy rich creamy chocolate brownies, belgium chocolates, perfect chocolate macarons, crispy and smooth cannolis and end with an amazing liege waffle and hot chocolate.  The tour is about two and a half hours of chocolate bliss.Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset
