We recently had the pleasure of touring Queen Creek Olive Mill and were blown away with the experience….pssst you can tour too! They are Arizona’s only producer of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and are located in Queen Creek. Their mill boasts over 7,500 trees that produce tasty olive oil flavors that will have your palate doing happy dances. We can assure you that the experience is worth the travel from the North Phoenix area to Queen Creek. We would certainly go again with friends or family. Speaking of family, they are a family owned and operated olive mill and you know how we love to support local at North Phoenix Moms Blog. 🙂
I enjoyed sampling their delicious olive oils, all of which are made right there at the farm. I was surprised to learn that they even make a chocolate olive oil that is just perfect for dessert recipes. I came home with their peach white balsamic glaze which is limited edition and ah-mazing!!! The peaches come straight from nearby Schnepfs Farm…keeping it in the Arizona family of course!
We were able to see where “the magic happens” and learn about the process of making olive oils. Getting a peek of what takes place behind the scenes of a successful local farm and olive mill was an awesome experience.
After our tour, we munched on some of their “to die for” bruschetta and took in their breathtaking views. They have the sweetest grove that is lined with over 100 olive trees for casual dining + hanging out. Visiting Queen Creek Olive Mill is worth it just for the food alone! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and you can bet I will be back to dine here again.
And what is a mom blogger to do after a fab foodie tour and eats?!…head right to the Superstition Coffee Shop located right off of the olive milling room! A tasty end to the perfect foodie adventure.
And don’t forget to shop their Olivespa before you leave where they sell a variety of body products made with their extra virgin olive oil. So whether to tour the olive mill, have a meal with your family, grab a bite or coffee with a friend, be sure to add visiting Queen Creek Olive Mill to your list of things to do in The Valley. Tell them North Phoenix Moms Blog sent you!
Eat well my friends! -XO
