I have a very special Foodie Friday for you in honor of National Popcorn Day this coming Monday (1/19)! Just wait until you see all these delicious treats. It’s the perfect snack; low-fat, high-fiber, and oh so filling. We’ve been known to eat a little too much popcorn for snack; swapping out dinner for a big bowl of popcorn and a side of fruit salad.
Who knew there were so many ways to enjoy this crunchy snack? I’ve rounded up a great selection of popcorn tips, recipes, and toppings to get you ready to celebrate. From classic popcorn to savory and sweet, there’s a recipe out there for everyone. Of course the more you add in the less “healthy” it is.
Click around and try out a few. Make sure to comment below and tell me what your favorite popcorn recipe or tip is. I can’t wait to try out the peanut butter kitchen sink.
Circus Animal Popcorn
Zebra Caramel Corn
Thin Mint Popcorn
Coconut Caramel Popcorn
Potato Chip Pretzel Corn
Cake Batter Popcorn
Peanut Butter Popcorn
Movie Theatre Popcorn
Cheese Popcorn (Chicago mix)
Here’s one of my favorite pictures of my oldest stealing my popcorn. His chunky little toddler hands reaching in to borrow from me. We eliminated that problem this year with family and individualized popcorn bowls. No more mixing up the popcorn, it’s serious business around here. 🙂
What’s your favorite way to enjoy popcorn?
