To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Joker, Very Awesome Girls PHX and Project Hero are teaming up for a fun filled back to school fundraiser!
At the Joker’s Back to School Bash they will be accepting donations of school supplies* to benefit Tonalea Elementary School SUSD.
There will be tasty treats and handmade crafts for sale, the proceeds of which will benefit Tonalea – school supplies as well as an after school robotics program that is trying to get off the ground at this Title 1 school. There will be some villains (as well as some characters from Dr. Who) attending the event along with a fun photo booth! You can also enter the awesome raffle for all sorts of fun prizes including a mini session from our very own, Dream Photography Studio. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. BONUS: Bring in a back pack stocked with school supplies and get 6 free tickets!
Festivities include:
- Chris Wood (Big Chris Art 4 Me, BIGCHRISARTBIZ) who will be on hand painting live
- The Phoenix Comicon Street team
- Blushing Peach Art will be lending her facepainting talents
- Dream Photography Studio will be on hand photographing the event
- Frites Street Food Truck will be serving up their gourmet pomme frites
