Bump, Baby and Beyond – The Recap

When we first heard about the opportunity to work with The Bump + City Moms Blog for the expecting + new mamas event we were so excited! We immediately had visions dancing in our head of what the event would look like…the decor, the food, the presentations, the swag/prizes and more. You know what?! We think we got EXACTLY what we wanted! We hope that those in attendance would agree with us that the night was a HUGE success and we look forward to the next time you will join us. We are so passionate about bringing local moms + local brands together in a warm and inviting environment and hope that you experience that at our events. We bring you the latest and greatest! In this instance that meant amazing swags bags…hello top of the line products!!! Right?! Seriously though, if you could see the massive shipments of products stacking up at our houses….boxes upon boxes leading up to Bump, Baby and Beyond…it would have made you giggle. We wanted to do a quick recap of the event and recognize those amazing companies that made this event possible.

The Decor. Blossom Birth Center was transformed compliments of Prim Rentals! Vintage, rustic goodness greeted guests from the moment they walked into the front door. Their vintage pieces were perfection!!! The decor provided was exactly what we envisioned for our event. We loved each and every item that Prim brought for us & the attention to every last detail. Also A HUGE THANK YOU to Bellapia who not only provided a giveaway pack but also created hand lettered signage for us! The talent we work with is such a blessing! A paper suite (agenda + spreader list + name tag) collaboration between Yellow Bungalow Shop and Just Us Three Design was also well received. Some attendees were saying it was their first “mama” name tag. So sweet! We kept the rest of décor simple and elegant.  Babies breath & hydrangeas added a special touch, white tablecloths, Caravan Shoppe chalkboard style backdrops to take belly selfies, and lovely Mindy Alyse Banners created the perfect space!

The Food. Okay. Seriously. We had some really incredible food at this event! Ollie Vaughn’s really outdid themselves and provided a butternut squash soup with roasted kale and pepitas that was the definition of scrumptious! People were scraping the bottom of that pot to make sure nothing was left behind! Not to mention Proof Bread providing their tasty rolls (which don’t even need butter!!! They are THAT good). For dessert, Ollie Vaughn’s again provided delicious mexican tea cookies and Victorian Cupcakes provided gender reveal cupcakes! I’m getting hungry just thinking of the food we had! You didn’t think we’d stop there did you?! Rollover Doughnuts Food Truck by Short Leash Hot Dog was there too! They provided bites for all the mamas and offered doughnuts to take home to the rest of the fam (because you have to share the love, right?!). And pregnant moms + doughnuts is ALWAYS a good recipe!!

The Swag.  On our social media we saw lots of mamas whipping out their new “Mama’s Fuel” coffee mug (artwork by the lovely Yellow Bungalow Shop) provided by Tiny Prints. What a special addition to the swag bags…waking up to these water color styled pretties is not a bad thing. This item was just ONE of the many that EVERY mom took home. Want to hear the full list?! We thought you’d never ask! The swag bags were also loaded with:

The Giveaways. Thought our swag was good?! Well lets just talk about our giveaways for a moment. These items are the reason we sold this event out. Top of the line products included:

The Venue/Speakers. Blossom Birth Center opened up their doors and were our incredible hostesses! Nichelle and Mary are so kind + welcoming! They joined right in on all the fun and we appreciated them to no end. Along with some awesome food, swag bags, décor and giveaways, we also had SPEAKERS for the evening! We had a massage therapist giving all those tired backs a good rub, a lactation consultant, a chiropractor, and expert in Bringing Baby Home. Also an OiOi Baby Bags presentation on how to BEST pack your diaper bag, an art therapist, as well as a birth and postpartum doula! All the mamas not only walked away with some amazing giveaways and swag, but a ton of resources!!! Exactly as we planned.
