Buddy Fruits {Review & Giveaway}

6

I have to admit, that we don’t buy baby food. With both of our girls we have decided to just feed our babies what we eat (appropriate to their chewing and swallowing abilities). So, I’m not an expert on all the brands currently out there. But I am an expert on taste and what my 3 year old and 9 month old enjoy. And as much as I like to prepare my own food for our girls, I also love having convenient snacks ready (for my kids and myself) when we are out and about. I recently received a box of Buddy Fruits products to try out. We are still making our way through the generous array of fruit yumminess, but so far they are a hit in our house.

Pure blended fruit

Buddy Fruits makes several different products, including pouches, fruit bites and apple chips. The pouches (like many of the other brands that are popping up all over the place) are super convenient and can be used as a meal for your young babies or snacks for the older ones and you. They come in several varieties: coconut milk and fruit, blended fruit and milk, pure blended fruit, and super fruit (designed for adults).  What’s wonderful about all these pouches is that it’s Real food. No artificial stuff. The fruit bites are a great alternative to the other fruit snacks that you can find at your local grocery store. They would be great to throw in your diaper bag or purse for quick and easy snacking on the go. They are chewy and sweet; no preservatives and sweeten with fruit juice.

100% apple chips

Another perk – My girls have both had dairy and soy intolerances, so I love that many of their products are purely fruit and that they also have coconut milk options.

  1. This product looks promising! Unfortunately, they don’t sell it in stores near me, but Amazon sells it. I’d love to try it, so I liked their Facebook page. 🙂

  2. I was just looking at the Buddy Fruits coconut milk and fruit pouches! We’re just getting ready to start up on foods other than breast milk. Would love to try out Buddy Fruits.

  3. extra entry? Sure…I would like to try their blended fruit and milk. My kids would probably love the apple chips too! Haven’t had those yet either.
