Moms are always busy buying for everyone else in the family, for extended family, for friends, and let’s face it … for everyone! This is all the more reason to get gifts that moms actually want and will remember! Here is your one-stop shop!
Coffee. I mean, duh?! I’m obsessed with Nespresso and I just do not know how I’d survive my days without a cup or two! This time of year they offer their best discounts (30% OFF plus discount on coffee!) on their machines. Stop by the new store in Scottsdale Fashion Square to try it today. But let’s face it, I don’t discriminate when it comes to coffee, so Mamas Cold Brew, Starbucks, Dutch Bros., bring it on! If you’re not into coffee, how about our local tea bosses at Teaspressa, an adorable specialty shop that carries an incredible array of leaf options that any tea lover will go wild for!
Wine. Wine club. More wine = happy mommy! This is a no brainer! What mom doesn’t love wine?! Wineries often offer discounts for direct shipping. My favorite is Cakebread Cellars (a splurge but a truly wonderful gift!)
Mom gear. Mom life is the best life, so why not a fashionable declaration of momhood? Like the ever so popular “mama bear” shirt, or how about the “happy mom” or “iron mom” Namomste gear from Modern Milk?
Comfy pajamas. These may or may not double as a daytime outfit, so make sure they’re comfy and cute. I love the Victoria Secret button down sleep shirts (bonus: easy access for late night feedings for nursing mamas). Or splurge for an extra cuddly robe like the ones from the luxurious Barefoot Dreams. They’re beyond dreamy and soft; most days I only begrudgingly take it off to put on leggings, aka my #momiform, so it’s socially acceptable to go outside.
Food. Any day I don’t have to consider one of my occupations to be a short line cook, is a good one! Why not give the gift of meal service (like Blue Apron) or a gift card to their favorite restaurant? Local favorites Fox Restaurant Concepts and Upward Projects offer discounted gift cards at your local Costco, so stock up!
Gift of memorializing the family. Gift a mini session from a local photographer. This is a fabulous way for a family to capture these precious times and it truly is a gift that will last a lifetime! If you’ve got a special expecting mama or new mom in your life, how about the stunning styled shoots with Mother + Child Co. These are sure to make any mama feel like the true goddess she is!
Pampering. It’s pure luxury these days to get some quality relaxation in, and for me that comes in the form of pampering! Getting my nails done, a massage, and a facial puts me on another level!! There are tons of massage coupons and/or discounted memberships to massage specialty companies (like Elements Massage’s current holiday special). Or how about a gift of blowouts (Primp & Blow is amazing!) that mom can use for a date night or just because she wants to rock some Victoria Secret model hair.
A clean home. I know this sounds like an oxymoron when you have kids but hello Roomba! Who has time to clean the floor when most of the day is spent cleaning another human?! Or how about the gift of a one time cleaning service (try Eco Mama Green Clean – locally mom owned natural cleaning service.)
Photos. Give the gift of a gift card to print out all those iPhone pictures that fill up the storage and rarely make it to print form. Bonus points for going the extra mile to frame a favorite capture of the mama’s darling little one.
Beauty box. It’s a wonderful gift to give so she can try products – either gift a one month package or splurge for a year! I focus on going all organic with my beauty products (as our skin is the largest organ and what goes on it, goes in it!). I made the switch before becoming pregnant and have continued to do so for my skincare and makeup products. So I’m loving the Organic Bunny monthly box that exclusively features organic products. This saves mama time and energy to research the latest and greatest! Also, it’s super fun when it arrives and you least expect it (also brings a smile to her face with the lipstick effect!)!
I hope all you mamas have been extra nice this year (I’m sure you have!). So, show this list to your hubby or significant other and help them make this holiday season super fabulous for you!
Sent to my hubs, love all the above. So many I do for myself, and it would be great if someone surprised me ๐
