Do you know what your little ones (and you?!) are dressing up as for Halloween? We have put together 10 Amazing (and Easy) Halloween Costumes You Can Do Yourself On the Cheap! We have some fab DIY ideas for babies, toddlers, children and even you!
Risky Business Baby
Nothing is easier than the outfit Tom Cruise sported in his iconic dance scene in Risky Business. All you need to pull this off is: a white button up, white socks, white diaper (or underwear) and black shades! “Just take those old records off the shelf…”
Lil Stinker aka Skunk
This adorable costume can be whipped together quite easily. You will need: a black hoodie, black leggings, white and black felt and a white boa. This one takes a little DIY magic as you will need to cut out the felt for the ears and the white tummy. You will also need to adhere the felt and boa to the hoodie. Don’t forget black eye liner or a face paint pen for that cute lil’ nose!
Football Player
Most kids have a sports jersey laying around and probably the coordinating ball too. Let your kiddo support your (or their!) favorite team on Halloween. Add some black eye liner or face paint below the eyes for the complete look. Go Sun Devils!
Fighter Pilot
Take the “highway to the danger zone” and dress your kiddo as the other iconic Tom Cruise character, Maverick from Top Gun. All it takes is a cute little bomber jacket, maybe some shades, and if you are lucky, an awesome toy plane!
Mom Blogger
Every mom blogger needs a laptop and a cup of coffee! Also love that our little blogger is sporting a top knot and leggings – the ultimate go-to look for many moms.
Kissing Booth
This little guy was not feeling photos but we still wanted to share how cute this costume idea is! This one will also take a little crafting. You will need: cardboard, paint or paper that looks like wood, suspenders, black sharpie, stickers in the shape of lips or red/pink paper cut into kiss marks , and a mama with red lipstick to kiss all over her son’s face! Front of the kissing booth says: Kisses 25¢.
Lumberjack
You can go a variety of ways with this look! Add in a pair of glasses to achieve a Seattle Hipster look or keep it simple with a beanie, flannel shirt, suspenders, jeans, and boots. What lumberjack is complete without a beard (face paint works perfectly for this!)?
Barb + Eleven from Stranger Things
You will need to do a little thrifting/shopping to pick up all the pieces to make this nostalgic look work! Barb was accomplished with a red wig, old 80’s glasses, pink snow jacket and complimentary sweater. Eleven’s look consists of a blue jacket, pink dress and socks with green and yellow stripes… add some lipstick under the nose and an Eggo for awesome final touches!
Rosie the Riveter
This outfit is great for a mom and/or her little that likes to be carried. Denim, red bandanas and some red lipstick for the win!
